Mgbako Chukwuma Snillow also known as MC Snillow is the CEO and founder of Kapon empire/ kodorojo limited. Snillow started his music journey at the age of six, rapping and jumping over people’s songs.
Born and raised in Enugu (coal city) by Anambra state parents, MC Snillow grew up in a music family. His late grandfather was a popular flutist, and also a part of a traditional music band that covered many prestigious events in Enugwu ukwu village in Anambra state where he lived.
MC Snillow’s father grew up and became a popular DJ known as odo disco in the 70(s) and early 80(s). While Snillow’s grandma was in a traditional dance group, Snillow’s mum was a chorister in the church choir.
As a kid, he was encouraged to join the church choir by his mum. Nobody knew the stuff he was blessed with till he started free-styling and winning rap battles in this hood as a teenager.
After his graduation from the university, MC Snillow decided to take things to the next level by launching his own label, Kapon empire, in 2016 to aid him and other musicians put out their own music. He signed many artists to his label. As time went on, he part ways with a few of his artists, leaving only PG and DONADON to continue the journey with him.
On 21st September 2017, he surprised the world when he went from being a manager to a recording artist with the release of the music, I STILL SEE NO CHANGE, a conscious song that addresses socio-economic and political issues happening in Africa, and the world.
Donadon is a rap artist that was born and raised in coal city. This teenage rap sensation hails from IMO state. At the tender age of 10, he discovered his passion for rap music, and ever since then, he wanted to become a star. Back in school, he headed the NINE ELEVEN RAP group, after the fall of NINE ELEVEN, he formed a new rap group called ECN GANG. His rap career took a new turn when a friend brought him to mc Snillow, the man that would later help shape his rap career. Donadon became a household name after he gained success with his songs, Kpoi, and fake boi that were blazing on various charts around the world. Signed to Mc Snillow’s imprint, Kapon empire records, this young talent stands strong in Africa as one of her greatest indigenous rappers.
With his ever-growing fan base and female audience, Donadon seems unstoppable.
Following in the footstep of his late father who was a local musician, Chiemerie, popularly known as PG (Peni gravitti) started his music career with his kids in the block Ogene group headed by him. His love for rap made him switch to the hip-hop genre. After his amazing performance in the roc foundation’s street champ campaign, MC Snillow quickly signed him to his label to help further his dreams of being the greatest rap artist ever.
PG hails from Udi in Enugu (coal city) state, his pattern of rap and lyrical content is strictly indigenous. Besides his ability to make great music, PG is a great stage performer that leaves fans craving for more whenever he rocks the mic on stage. With the success he is enjoying at this young age, it’s clear the sky is his starting point.
